Does Facebook (Meta) have an official MCP server?

Yes, but it is for ads. Meta's Ads MCP, opened in April 2026, manages campaigns, reporting and catalogs. Meta has no official MCP for publishing organic posts to Facebook Pages, which is what PostPlanify's MCP server does.

Is this the same as the Meta Ads MCP?

No. The Meta Ads MCP runs paid campaigns. PostPlanify's Facebook MCP schedules organic Page posts, reads Page analytics and replies to comments. If you run ads and organic content, you can use both.

Can Claude post to a Facebook Page?

Yes. Add PostPlanify as a connector in Claude and it can schedule text posts, up to 10 photos, a video or a Story to any Facebook Page you manage.

Can ChatGPT post to Facebook?

Yes. Install the official PostPlanify plugin from the ChatGPT plugins directory, sign in, and ask it to schedule a post to your Page.

Can it post to my personal Facebook profile or Groups?

No. Meta removed third-party posting to personal profiles in 2018 and to Groups in 2024, so PostPlanify, like every scheduler, posts to Facebook Pages only.

Can it manage multiple Facebook Pages?

Yes. Connect each Page once, and your AI can schedule to any of them, read each Page's analytics and switch between client workspaces in the same chat.

Can it reply to Facebook comments?

Yes. Your AI lists new comments on your Page posts, drafts replies and posts them after you confirm.

Can the AI read Facebook Page insights?

Yes: views, reactions, comments, shares, clicks and engagement rate per post, plus Page followers.

Do I need a Meta developer app or App Review?

No. PostPlanify uses its own approved Meta app. You sign in with Facebook, pick your Pages and connect the MCP with one URL.

Is the Facebook MCP server free?
