Does Pinterest have an official MCP server?

Pinterest announced one in June 2026, focused on ads, campaign data and insights, and it is in alpha with agency partners only. It is not publicly available for organic pinning as of October 2026.

Is this for organic Pins or Pinterest Ads?

Organic Pins. PostPlanify schedules image and video Pins and reads Pin analytics. It does not manage Pinterest ads.

Can Claude or ChatGPT create and schedule Pins?

Yes. Your AI uploads the image or video, picks the board and schedules the Pin for any future time.

How does the AI choose the board?

Every Pin needs a board. Your AI lists your boards first and asks which one to use, then schedules the Pin there.

Which Pin formats are supported?

One image or one video per Pin, with a description of up to 500 characters.

Can I see Pinterest analytics through the MCP?

Yes: impressions, saves, Pin clicks, outbound clicks and engagement rate per Pin, plus followers and monthly views.

Can it create or delete boards, or search Pinterest?

No. It schedules Pins to your existing boards and reads your analytics. It does not create boards or search other Pins.

Do I need a Pinterest developer account?

No. PostPlanify uses its own approved Pinterest app. You sign in with Pinterest and pick your account.

Is the Pinterest MCP server free?

MCP access is included on all paid PostPlanify plans, with no separate MCP fee. One connection covers Pinterest and the other 9 platforms.
