No. Meta offers a Threads API but no Threads MCP server as of October 2026. PostPlanify publishes to Threads through that official API.

Can Claude or ChatGPT post to Threads?

Yes. Connect PostPlanify and your AI can schedule text posts, an image or video, or a carousel of 2 to 20 items.

Can AI schedule Threads posts?

Yes. The Threads API has no built-in scheduling, so PostPlanify holds the post and publishes it at your chosen time.

What are the Threads post limits?

500 characters of text, carousels of 2 to 20 items, and up to 250 API-published posts per account every 24 hours.

Can the AI read my Threads analytics?

Yes: views, likes, replies, reposts, quotes, shares and engagement rate per post, plus followers.

Can it reply to Threads replies or send DMs?

Not yet. Reply management for Threads is not available through the MCP, and Threads has no messaging API for DMs.

Can one request post to Threads, X and Bluesky?

Yes, in one conversation. Your AI schedules a separate post to each account and adapts the text to each platform's limit.

Do I need a Meta developer app?

No. PostPlanify uses its own approved Meta app. You sign in with Threads and connect the MCP with one URL.

Is the Threads MCP server free?
